Porcelain laminate veneers are the most conservative of all restorations. They require a minimal amount of tooth reduction and are therefore one of the most conservative of restorations. After the tooth structure is reduced slightly an impression is taken and sent to a dental laboratory, where a thin shell of porcelain is created. Two to three weeks after the initial visit the veneer is then bonded by the dentist to the surface of the teeth. The bond between the porcelain veneers and the tooth structure is so great that it becomes an undetectable part of the teeth. The result is a natural looking smile unlike any other restoration can provide.

Porcelain veneers allow us to alter tooth position, shape, size and color. Some even refer to them as “instant orthodontics” because they allow us to straighten crooked teeth in a matter of days! When done properly the results are truly remarkable. They can provide you with a beautiful smile for years to come.
